
If you need advice about welfare rights or benefits while you are in hospital social workers can refer you to a welfare benefits advisor either in the hospital in the community. The welfare benefits advisor will check that you are receiving all the benefits you are entitled to and will help you claim for benefits.
Welfare rights for patients at The Royal London and The London Chest hospitals
Patients at The Royal London Hospital can get advice from the hospital Welfare Rights Advisor who is part of the Social Work team. Your social worker at the hospital will be able to put you in touch with him.
