The Research Support Unit

The JRMO’s Research Support Unit (RSU) is now established to assist researchers across the Trust and the College with their funding and governance applications. Funded by the Trust, it has been set up specifically to add value to applications and simplify the processes required for conducting research. The RSU sits in the JRMO and works with the costings and governance teams and others in the JRMO to co-ordinate and enhance applications, streamline procedures, and bring projects online more quickly.

There is Research Grants Advisor to assist with grant applications, along with two Approvals Advisors to assist with R&D registration, and governance, ethics, CSP, and MHRA applications. All types of research projects and funding applications are welcome, particularly those for NIHR, MRC, Wellcome Trust and charity grants.
