Introducing new drugs, devices or techniques

Where researchers have tested new drugs, devices or techniques and wish to make them available to mainstream patients, there is now a clear process for doing this at Barts Health NHS Trust. The researcher must submit a case to the New Technologies Committee, chaired by the Medical Director.
