Research into practice

Barts and The London has an excellent record of producing research which has a positive impact on health and healthcare.

These pages are designed to identify sources of help to challenge and improve clinical practice, to identify, protect and exploit novel ideas arising from research, and to introduce new drugs, devices or techniques into Barts and The London NHS Trust.

Barts and the London has two accredited UKCRC Trials Units which can provide assistance:

• The Cancer Prevention Trials Unit (CPTU); and
• The Pragmatic Clinical Trials Unit (PCTU). 

Additional help is also now available through Research Design Service London (RDS London) to support researchers when making public funding applications.
