General nephrology

Patients with specific kidney ailments and those with chronic kidney disease not requiring pre-dialysis support are cared for in our general nephrology clinics at the Royal London Hospital.

Our team of kidney consultants each undertake clinics and therefore patients referred either by their GP or via our renal screening clinic are seen very quickly. If the patient’s kidney condition is considered to be urgent, they will be seen within a week of the referral being made.
