How to be referred

If you are diagnosed with cancer or your doctor suspects that you may have cancer and you would like to be treated at Barts, please contact your GP or speak to your hospital doctor. You have a choice about which hospital to go to for treatment, so your doctor will be able to advise you on the next steps.

We consistently achieve national access targets for patients with suspected cancer and for treatment following diagnosis. Referral criteria and forms are all available on our website; please click here for referral forms.

Referrals to the centre come from GPs, consultants in other hospitals within the North East London Cancer Network and consultants from other national and international cancer centres.
