Get involved

Participation in research

In keeping with the Heart Attack Centre’s aim to provide East London with state-of-the-art care, we are undertaking important research into therapies that may improve patient outcomes. These studies are all approved by an independent research ethics authority. Those who are potentially eligible will be invited to participate. This is entirely voluntary and does not affect the standard care that patients get. If you would like more information of our current research projects, please click here.

Fundraising and events

Charitable giving by patients, local communities and business has always played and will continue to play an important role in our work. It helps to provide state-of-the-art facilities and equipment; supports cutting-edge research and innovations in treatments; and ensures the best possible standards for our patients, staff and local communities.
