Last October Sadia Rashid Hairder from East London had an operation to fix the squint in her eyes.

Her vision had always been ok, but she didn't like the way the squint made her look.

"I'd lived with the squint since childhood and i didn't know there was anything that could be done to fix it."

Sadia visited the hospital several times before setting up an appointment with Mr Reddy, consultant opthalmologist and surgeon, to have the operation.

"The operation only took two hours and i went home the same day.

"The doctors and nurses were all really nice and treated me very well."

After wearing eye patches for a few days, Sadia was soon able to see the difference the operation had made.

"I'm so happy. Only a month after the operation my eyes felt great.

"I've just been back to Pakistan to show my friends and family the results."
