Biography:

Honorary consultant since 2003 in restorative dentistry and also registered specialist in prosthodontics and endodontics. Course director for the masters in clinical dentistry prosthodontics and co-convenor for the undergraduate training in fixed and removable prosthodontics. Previously in private practice and part time teaching positions at Guys Dental School and Newcastle upon Tyne Dental School.

Areas of work:

Fixed and removable prosthodontics (crowns, bridges, implants, dentures), quality of performance, success and failure.

Special interests:

Toothwear measurement, cost effectiveness of treatment versus quality.
