Fixed braces

Fixed braces or ‘train tracks’ as they are commonly known, straighten crooked teeth and improve the way upper and lower teeth meet. Fixed braces are carefully glued to the teeth and cannot be taken out of the mouth. A fixed braced will gradually move teeth into better positions in the mouth. Treatment with fixed braces normally takes 2 to 3 years.
