Biography:

Janice has worked as a Consultant Paediatric Dentist since October 1995, and has a special professional interest in training junior hospital staff. Prior to this she was honorary senior lecturer at Kings College Hospital.

Areas of work:

Developmental dental anomalies, the management of children with special medical, physical or dental needs. Dental management of children using inhalation sedation or general anaesthesia and minor oral surgery for children.

Special interests:

PhD thesis completed in 1995 on developmental defects of teeth in children born pre term. Other research interests include: dental development in twins, and dental aspects of Williams Syndrome and children with cleft lip and palate.
