Low rates of infection
Barts and The London hospitals continue to have relatively low rates of infection, including rates of the ‘superbug’ MRSA. Figures released by the Department of Health in 2006 confirm that we have the fourth lowest rate among the specialist hospitals in London.

Patient satisfaction
A recent audit with patients showed high levels of satisfaction with our clinical service and the expertise of the staff. We have taken forward aspects of this audit to improve in a number of areas, including waiting times and patient information in clinic.
