Graduated from St Thomas' Hospital Medical School, London. Medical Registrar at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Birmingham. Research Fellow at Institute of Neurology. Registrar and Senior Registrar at the National Hospital for Nervous Diseases, Queen Square and the Chalfont Centre for Epilepsy. Appointed Consultant Neurologist at the Royal London Hospital and Newham General Hospital in 1997.

Special interests:

Movement disorder clinic (for patients with Parkinson's disease and involuntary movements such as tremor, dystonia and chorea). Botulinum clinic primarily for the treatment of dystonia.
