Home to London’s air ambulance, Barts and The London is London’s leading trauma and emergency care centre treating some of the most seriously ill and injured patients in London. Our specialist clinical staff have internationally recognised expertise in providing comprehensive, co-ordinated critical care, from the scene of an incident through to discharge.

The Centre for Neurosciences treats many patients who are brought in as a result of an emergency, either by helicopter or ambulance. Over 1000 people are treated here each year for emergency neurological conditions.
