Barts Hospital is located in the City, close to St Paul’s Cathedral. There are excellent transport links to the hospital.

The nearest underground stations are Barbican (approx. 7 mins walk), Farringdon (approx. 8 mins walk) and St Paul's (approx. 7 mins walk). Note Blackfriars tube station is closed until late 2011 (approx. 10 mins walk),
Barbican and Farringdon are served by the Hammersmith and City, Metropolitan and Circle lines. Blackfriars is served by the Circle and District lines. St Paul's is served by the Central Line.
The nearest National Rail stations are Blackfriars (note the tube station is closed until late 2011), Cannon Street and City Thameslink and Farringdon, all are located within walking distance of the hospital. Liverpool Street station is a short tube, bus or taxi ride away.

The following buses stop outside or close to the hospital: numbers 4, 8, 25, 56, 172 and 242. Low-floor wheelchair accessible buses run on all routes serving Barts Hospital.

Taxi and car: The drop-off/pick-up point is in the Square, accessed via the King Henry VIII Gate on Giltspur Street.
Parking: There is no public parking at the hospital itself, but there is an NCP car park close to the hospital on West Smithfield.
Congestion charge: Barts Hospital is situated within the congestion chargig zone. All patients/visitors who drive to the hospital are therefore required to pay the charge although there are some exemptions and discounts, such as:
