For clinicians

We consistently achieve national access targets for patients with suspected cancer and for treatment following diagnosis.

Referrals to the centre come from GPs, consultants in other hospitals within the North East London Cancer Network and consultants from other national and international cancer centres.

Referral guidelines

At Barts Cancer Centre, we are committed to providing our referring clinicians with information required to support you in making referrals to the service.

Barts and The London with Tower Hamlets PCT have a set of forms for referring urgent suspected cancers under the 2 week wait system.
