Biography:

Mr Bhattacharya obtained his medical degree from Grant Medical College, Bombay and trained in liver and pancreas surgery at the Royal Free and University College Hospitals in London.

Research programmes:

Research interests include chemo-embolisation of liver tumours and radiofrequency ablation of liver tumours.

Special interests:

Surgery of the liver, pancreas, gall bladder and bile duct, radiofrequency ablation of tumours and laparoscopic surgery.
