Biography:

Dr Polly Richards is a Neuroradiologist specialising in Head and Neck Imaging and has been a consultant at Barts and the London since 2002. She trained in Oxford, Bristol and London before a doing subspecialty Fellowship in Head and Neck Imaging in Hong Kong.

Dr Richards has a particular interest in ultrasound of the neck and has helped to develop a comprehensive ultrasound service for the Trust including a new rapid diagnostics service for head and neck patients.

Professional history:

She is a member of the national Dental Radiology Diploma Examination Board, Secretary of the British Society of Head and Neck Imaging and Vice Chairman of the North East London Cancer Network Tumour Advisory Board for Head and Neck Cancer.

Dr Richards regularly lectures on aspects of Head and neck Imaging and has contributed to several text books on the subject.
