GP and other healthcare professional referral blood tests

Patients referred to Barts and The London for blood tests by their GP or another health professional can attend any of the clinics below, at the times stated. Please note that all the Phlebotomy/blood test outpatient clinics are closed at weekends and on public/bank holidays.

Patients are seen on a first-come, first-served basis.

A valid blood test request form will be required, and should include the following information: full name, date of birth and hospital /NHS number of the patient.

Please note that the early bird blood service in the Whitechapel walk-in-centre has now closed.

• Friday 1pm-4.45pm

Paediatric phlebotomy services (for children under 16 years of age)

The Paediatric phlebotomy service is in Clinic 4, Paediatric Outpatients' Services, 7th Floor, North Tower, in the new Royal London Hospital.

The opening times for the Paediatric Phlebotomy Service are Monday-Friday, 9am-4.30pm.

The service will continue to be offered on a drop-in basis (no booking necessary).
