Blood tests

Our nursing staff will carry out blood and other tests that you may need.  Please note that two weeks prior to your appointment, you must return to the Grahame Hayton Unit for a blood test.  This is so the results will be ready when you next see your doctor.

You do not need to make a separate appointment to have a blood test, you just walk into the clinic at the times when blood can be taken, these times are every day

• Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 8.30am to 5.45pm
• Wednesday 12 noon and 6.45pm
• Fridays 8.30am to 2.30pm

When you arrive please inform the receptionist that you are here for blood tests and they will direct you as to where to sit and wait.

We would like to ask that you bring in the stickers your doctor or nurse has given you when you come for your blood tests. This will make your visit quicker.
