Biography:
Nathan has been a Consultant Nurse for HIV at Barts and the London NHS Trust since December 2004. Prior to that he was a senior nurse practitioner for HIV at Northwest London Hospitals NHS Trust, before which he was a community Clinical Nurse Specialist for Parkside Health (now Brent PCT). Nathan started working in the HIV specialty in 1989 at Mildmay Hospital.
Research programmes:
Spiritual component of nursing care, role of the nursing conversation within HIV care.
Special interests:
Management of stable HIV patients, developing nurse-led care within HIV, treatment support of people taking HIV therapy.
