Biography:

Chloe has been a Consultant HIV physician at Barts and The London since December 2003. Prior to that, she was a specialist registrar at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.

Areas of work:

Dr Orkin is the HIV Lead for North East London Network for HIV and Sexual health (NELNET). Her interests are in HIV and cancer, HIV and viral resistance to Anti-retroviral treatment and HIV in-patient care.

Chloe has recently joined her colleague Dr Baily in the HIV /Hepatitis co-infection clinics.  She leads the HIV clinical trial unit which offers studies across all stages of care. She is on the executive committee of the British HIV Association.

Research programmes:

Anti-retroviral resistance, pharmacogenomics, pharmacokinetics and Castleman's Disease.

Special interests:

HIV medicine and research, HIV/Hep C co-infection trials, retrovirology, pharmacogenomics, HIV oncology, pharmacokinetics.
