We are one of the leading heart rhythm centres in the country, pioneering procedures and developing techniques to eliminate almost all abnormal heart rhythm conditions - where the heart beats too fast or too slow.
We treat more patients that any other centre in the country, leading the way in the development and delivery of a groundbreaking procedure called catheter ablation.
We were one of the first centres in the UK to develop techniques for treating persistent atrial fibrillation. We are also carrying out research into robotic assisted catheter ablation for atrial fibrillation.
Our highly trained teams understand that patient care needs to be individualised, taking into account psychological and social needs. We are continually researching new treatments and the use of new technologies, ensuring that our patients receive the best and most up-to-date possible care.

Symptoms
