Barts and The London Heart and Chest Centre | Research

Doctors at Barts and The London Heart and Chest Centre are at the forefront of efforts to find new treatments for heart disease. They were among the first in the UK to offer emergency angioplasties routinely to heart attack patients in 2003, when they launched the pilot programme.
They are now working on pioneering stem cell therapy to help patients with heart problems.
