Barts and The London Heart Surgery Centre
At Barts and The London Heart Surgery Centre, we have experiences in the removal of all types of cardiac tumours(whether benign or malignant/cancerous).
The most common form of benign cardiac tumour is called a myxoma, which generally occurs in the left atrium of the heart.
As these tumours can obstruct the flow of blood from the heart, symptoms can mimic those of valvular disease including tiredness and weight loss.
