Computer virus incident update Wednesday 1500hrs

Following the computer virus which overloaded its' network, Julian Nettel, Chief Executive said:
"By using back-up systems, manual procedures and working flexibly, we have continued to provide high quality care to our patients."
The Trust continues to roll-out its recovery plan; theatres and outpatients have remained operational throughout, and A&E.
Lab testing and imaging is available and medical staff have been able to access services by manual requesting.
Patients with appointments should attend as planned.
Anyone enquiring about a hospital appointment should call 0207 7601 8099 as normal, but please be aware that there may be some delays.
If patients have concerns about booked transport please call the main switchboard on 0207 377 7000 and ask to be put through to the travel shop.
Julian Nettel added; "I would particularly like to thank all our staff, patients and other NHS colleagues for their hard work, help and support."
Any patients who have urgent concerns about their appointments should contact the Trust on 0207 943 1335 until 8pm today (Wednesday) and between 9am and 5pm tomorrow (Thursday).
