Cancellations

If you need to cancel or rearrange your stay for any reason, please let us know as soon as possible by calling the telephone number on your admission letter. If you do not contact us this may affect your position on our waiting list and we may also refer you back to your GP for review.

We make every effort to ensure operations are carried out on time, but sometimes cancellations or delays are unavoidable. If we need to cancel or rearrange your operation we will give you as much notice as possible.

Very rarely we may need to cancel your operation at very short notice, including when you are already in hospital. If we do need to cancel at such short notice, we will make sure you are treated within 28 days.
