The Press Office is responsible for media relations on behalf of Barts Health NHS Trust and London's Air Ambulance (previously known as Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS)). A member of press can be contacted 24 hours a day, every day of the year including Christmas and New Year.

During office hours, all media enquiries should be directed to the Press Office on tel 020 7480 4843 where they will be evaluated and dealt with appropriately. This is particularly important in ensuring that information given about Barts and The London and London's Air Ambulance (HEMS) is accurate, consistent and up to date.

Outside office hours the on-call Press Officer will deal with enquiries from journalists. The on-call Press Officer can be contacted on: pager 07659 139655 or via the hospital switchboard tel 020 7377 7000.
