At Barts and The London Eye Service we are committed to giving our patients all the support they need to get well.
Patients attending our ocular oncology clinics are offered the opportunity to meet with a Macmillan melanoma nurse.
If you are diagnosed as having an eye melanoma, you will usually be offered a meeting with the Macmillan nurse.
This meeting offers patients the opportunity to talk through the information they've been given about their condition and may help you decide on your treatment options.
The nurse is available in the ocular oncology clinics and can meet with patients on the ward.
The eye service also draws upon a wide range of support staff and services from across the trust.
