Adult clinics

We run the following adult clinics:

• Adult allergy clinic with two consultants, a specialist registrar, a dietitian and an allergy nurse specialist, and includes desensitisation clinic: Weekly on Tuesday afternoons at The London Chest Hospital. 

• Adult allergy clinic (held jointly with a respiratory clinic) with consultant and registrar: Weekly on Friday mornings at The London Chest Hospital. 

• Specialist joint allergy/ENT (ear, nose and throat) clinic with allergy consultant, ENT consultant and allergy nurse specialist: Monthly on Wednesday afternoons (first week of month) at Barts Hospital. The clinic treats adults with complex combined allergy and nasal problems such as nose polyps, rhinitis and severe hay fever. The clinic, launched in September 2007, provides a one-stop shop for patients who need to see an allergy specialist and ENT consultant in the same appointment. This new service is not available to GPs directly at present, and you will need to be referred to the adult allergy clinic for consideration.
