Procurement and supplies
About the department
The Procurement and Supplies Department within Finance and Investment Directorate, is responsible for the management, acquisition and supply of high quality equipment, materials and services required; ensuring that the purchases and supplies are consistent with the policy framework laid down by the Trust.
These activities include:
- Sourcing
- Supplier and contract management
- Materials management (now via our PFI partner – Carillion)
- Purchase requisitioning/ordering
- Goods receipt and distribution (now via our PFI partner – Carillion)
- eCommerce (electronic trading)
