The Annual Review 2008/09 updates our patients and members of the public on developments in our hospitals and across our partnerships with other local healthcare providers, patient and voluntary sector groups and academic partners.

The Review looks at some of our outstanding results and achievements, but also looks forward to how, together with our healthcare partners in east London, we can make care even better for the people we serve.

This year’s Annual Report is structured around our main objectives.  The report includes the progress we have made in the three dimensions of quality set out by Lord Darzi – clinical effectiveness, the patient experience, and safety. It provides a quick overview of each objective and our achievements, together with patient case studies, and a more detailed section on specific services and activities.
