Purpose of this action plan
This document summarises action taken and progress to date in regard to Quality of Services in the 2008/09 Annual Health Check from the Care Quality Commission.
Detailed action plans are being implemented at service level. This document draws the key points from relevant the workstreams.
Summary
The Trust remains committed to improving access to patients and maintaining a high quality service. Improved controls and revised systems and processes have been implemented together with a more robust performance management framework.
Performance management arrangements have been strengthened to ensure sustained improvement in performance during 2009/10 and an ongoing assessment of risk will be reported to the Trust Board on a regular basis.
