Bringing Excellence to Life

Premature ejaculation

Premature ejaculation can be difficult to diagnose because there is no accepted ‘normal’ time for a man to ejaculate. Men who ejaculate in less than 1 minute, and who are troubled with this condition, or who are bothered with their ejaculatory time, can consider seeking treatment.

We recognise that premature ejaculation can cause many emotional problems for both a man and his partner. If it is causing significant problems for a patient, then our nurse-led clinics are here to help find the cause of the problem. There are many treatment and coping techniques for premature ejaculation; the key is to seek advice as soon as you can.

The specialist clinic runs every Friday on the surgical outpatients (1st floor) at Barts Hospital, West Smithfield.
