Specialist pharmacy

Our unit houses a specialist pharmacy and any medicines that you have been prescribed will be dispensed by our specialist pharmacist based within our unit. The pharmacist and pharmacy team will be happy to give you advice on any aspect of your drug treatment. Home delivery of anti-HIV drugs can also be organised by the specialist pharmacist for patients who are stable. It is important to make sure you have enough medication until your next appointment.  If you do not have enough medicine, please follow these three steps:

• Call the nursing team on 020 7601 7738 to arrange for a repeat prescription
• Allow 24 hours notice to organise a repeat prescription

The specialist pharmacy can only dispense a prescription related to HIV. If you have other health related problems you will be asked to get treatment for these from your GP.
