<P>Barts and The London hospitals produce some of the best clinical outcomes in the UK - <B>evidenced by one of the best survival rate records in the NHS</B>.</P>
<P>Our three hospitals – St Bartholomew’s (known as Barts) by St Paul’s in the City, The Royal London in Whitechapel and The London Chest in Bethnal Green – have made and continue to make an outstanding contribution to modern medicine.</P>
<P>The hospitals’ full portfolio of specialist centres includes the country’s biggest heart attack centre, leading edge cancer specialties, and one of the UK’s largest children’s hospitals, as well as our highly successful fertility centre. </P>
<P>Home to London’s Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS), Barts and The London is also one of the capital’s leading trauma and emergency care centres, offering surgical expertise that also benefits patients requiring more routine procedures.&nbsp;&nbsp; </P>
<P><B><FONT color=#006b54>Access </FONT></B></P>
<P>All HIV and Immunology Outpatient services are now based at the Grahame Hayton Unit at The Royal London Hospital.</P>
<P>All patients referred to Barts and The London HIV Service will be seen within the national waiting time target of two weeks from their diagnosis.&nbsp; Our patients are seen well within this time scale set by the British HIV Association (BHIVA) Service Standards.</P>

<P>Approximately 2,500 HIV patients are receiving care in our clinic and this continues to grow by 8% per year. </P>
<P>We also care for more than 300 patients with Immunology conditions.</P>
